Commitment: Committing through practices,
policies, and procedures to maximize each student's opportunities for
intellectual and personal development. Citizenship: Fostering within students a
social consciousness to perform effectively in and become productive citizens
of a rapidly changing world. Harmony: Surrounding students with a
highly competent and caring staff in a supportive and safe environment
consistent with the communities' historic commitment to mutual respect and
harmony. Scholarship: Providing a rigorous and
varied educational experience as measured against best educational practices,
guided by intellectualism, and the highest standards of scholarship in a public
education setting
The objective of
Concord-Carlisle high school is to build upon the legacy of social
consciousness, mutual respect, intellectualism and public education initiated
by the citizens of the past and similar to our historic contemporaries, the
preservation of these ideals come about from innovation and adaptation to an
ever-changing present. This
multidimensional goal is achieved by a collaboration between community,
faculty, and students. At
Concord-Carlisle we strive to create a rigorous and varied educational
experience in order to maximize each student's opportunities for intellectual
and personal development guided by highly competent and caring staff in a
supportive and safe environment.
The common element between the past and present is the student. The future is enacted through them and
by them. The journey, whether
collective or individual, is always experienced within the mind, heart, and
eyes of a student. The preparation
of these young minds requires a communal Commitment
to Citizenship, Harmony,
and Scholarship. At Concord-Carlisle the
mission is simple yet complex, to prepare students for an rapidly changing
world by fostering values that are transcendent and universal.
